How good has it been to dive into Ephesians together! We have a huge group of people reading through the book of Ephesians each day.
On Sunday we looked at how we “Gentiles” were separated from God’s Family, but because of His great and immense love and what Jesus did on the Cross, we are now joined together in one Family.
Ephesians 2:14 MSG “He tore down the wall we used to keep each other at a distance.”
I love the whole thought that we who were once outsiders are now in on everything. What a gracious and merciful God, that while we were at our worst, He sent Jesus to be the perfect atonement for our sins. That makes me emotional every time I think about it or read it.
We truly do have a lot to be grateful for. And it’s season like this where it is important for us to remember what we are grateful for.
During this next few weeks, let’s not lose focus on what it is that we are grateful for. In fact why not keep a journal of your reading through Ephesians and jot down some passages worth recalling.
We love you church!
