During times like these we often find ourselves doubting, confused and uncertain about what will happen. I find myself questioning when my football team will win again (fortunately we did this week, Go PIES!!), when my favourite cafe will reopen or how long until I can go on a holiday. When there is no clarity, it causes uncertainty.
But even in the midst of uncertainty we can still be certain. We maybe unclear about the future, but we can be certain of who holds the future. We might be confused about what is happening, but we can have absolute certainty about who is in control. We might be concerned about current events, but we know without a shadow of a doubt who holds us.
Hebrews 6:19 - This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls.
The hope we have in Christ is not a fleeting hope or a passing wish but rather a strong and trustworthy anchor. In the midst of winds of doubt, waves of confusion and storms of uncertainty, He is certain. And we can have certainty, clarity and hope in Him.
